We deliver the meal to your home. Starting with postcode areas 1321, 1322, 1359, 1362 and 1363, but we can’t wait to expand, so keep your eyes on the website!
We’re open from Wednesday to Sunday, 16.45 – 20.30 hrs.

How it works
Put together your own meal from our extensive Pick & Mix menu. You could, for example, start with a basic, like pasta or rice, and add your veggies, veggie/meat option and a dip for a complete meal.
Or go for our quality comfort food. Whatever you feel like!
This means you always end up with a truly personalised menu! It’s all about your own particular taste, dietary wishes, totally tailored to your own lifestyle.

That’s right, we’re picky! After all, you’ve got every right, haven’t you, to be a little bit choosy about what you put into your body? At Picky People you have maximum freedom of choice in putting your own menu together, in line with your own lifestyle.
We believe in fair products, fresh and nutritious, free of unnecessary additives and flavour enhancers. With respect for animals and the environment. Because responsibly sourced food tastes nice too! Wherever possible, we source the ingredients and products for our comfort food from local producers, and they are wherever possible organically produced.
Picky People’s master mind
Robin Vermey: creator of the Picky concept and recipes. “My passion for food and cuisine started very young, and so I regularly found myself in the kitchen growing up. Later on I had various different jobs in food retail and the restaurant business: a great opportunity to acquire knowledge about supplies, tastes and eating behaviours! And on the effect of colour on your taste buds – try a different colour bell pepper or courgette and find out for yourself!

The plan for a personal cuisine concept had been simmering in the back of his mind for years. “With Picky People kitchen I can make a difference, by choosing responsible solutions. As well as by giving people the opportunity to consciously select their own food preference. And, by letting people enjoy a fantastic and tasty meal.”

Sustainable & environmentally conscious
Maximum choice, minimal impact on on people, animals and planet / the environment
We are firm believers in healthy nutrition, but less so in the industry that has developed around it in recent decades. Because your food doesn’t need to come from far away to be tasty! Which is why our ingredients are wherever possible not only locally produced but organic as well.
Our menu contains a high proportion of vegetarian and/or vegan dishes. In addition, some dishes with animal ingredients also have an animal-free variant.
We believe in making efficient and careful use of our planet and all its resources. Our ovens are energy-efficient, our packaging and stickers made from sustainable materials, and delivery takes place by way of electric bikes.
